1. Preparation Before Use

‌Clean and dry the skin‌

Before applying, ensure that the skin around the stoma is free of any residual excrement. Pat it completely dry with sterile gauze to prevent moisture from affecting adhesion.

‌Check the condition of the barrier strip‌

Do not use if the paste becomes hard or delaminated after opening the package (qualified products should remain soft and malleable).

2. Key Application Tips

‌Shaping Technique‌

Wet your fingers and apply an appropriate amount of the barrier strip. Roll it into a thin strip and tightly fill any indentations or wrinkles around the stoma.

‌Multi-layer filling‌: Deep indentations should be applied in layers. After applying each layer, let it set for about 1 minute before applying the next layer.

‌Using with a baseplate‌

The barrier strip can be applied to the skin or the edge of the baseplate aperture. After filling, press firmly with your hand or a cotton swab to ensure there are no gaps.
