Characteristic
Adhesive antimicrobial incise drape is a flexible breathable waterborne polyurethane imitation skin membrane (called WPU) coated with an iodophor. The adhesive provides a secure attachment to the skin, while the antimicrobial agent helps protect against bacteria and other microorganisms.

Structure
Base layer – This layer is in contact with the skin. It has a medical grade hypoallergenic adhesive that does not irritate the skin.
Antimicrobial layer – This layer contains the antimicrobial agent that kills bacteria and other microorganisms. The agent used is usually chlorhexidine gluconate or iodine, which is known for their antibacterial properties.
Top Layer - This layer is a transparent, breathable and waterproof polyurethane sheet that provides protection to the surgical site.
